QB Kellen Clemens (NYJ): Clemons appears to have taken over as starter for the Jets as Pennington was awful in Sunday’s lost to the Bills at home. Clemons fantasy value is low and completely dependent on the match up, but the good news is he does have two solid receivers. It is only a matter of time when Mangini names him the starter for week 9 against the Redskins.
RB Chris Henry (TEN): The rookie continues to impress, scoring for the second straight week and gaining 48 yards on just 4 carries. Henry should still be available in some leagues.
RB Adimchinobe Echemandu (HOU): Don’t even try to pronounce it. With Ahman Green out and Ron Dayne doing what he does best which is be ineffective, Echemandu racked up 62 yards on 10 carries. If Green continues to be sidelined by injuries, Echemandu will see his role in the Texans offense expand and should take over as the starter over Dayne.
WR David Patten (NO): The journeyman has gone over 100 yards in 2 of the last 3 games as the Saints Offense has started to get rolling. Grab Patten if he is still available.
WR Chris Henry (CIN): Henry comes back this week from his 8 game suspension. He probably is not available but pick him up if he is; it looks like the Bengals could use him as well.
