RB DeShawn Wynn (GB): The 7th round pick out of Florida has played well enough in spelling for fellow rookie RB Brandon Jackson the first two weeks, that there is a chance he could start in week 3. Wynn scored 2 TD’s on ten carries and gained 50 yards on the ground against the Giants on Sunday. Wynn has outplayed the higher pick Jackson and has a good combination of size, speed, and mobility. This guy is no longer a sleeper and if you can still grab him, don’t hesitate because somebody else will.
RB Sammy Morris (NE): Morris has gotten 10+ carries in the first two weeks and is getting the goal line carries. Morris faces a poor Buffalo run defense next week and in a 12 man league with flex positions he should be considered.
WR Shaun McDonald (DET): McDonald has been a huge surprise to everyone by leading the Lions in both receptions and receiving yards the first two weeks. McDonald has the advantage of knowing Mike Martz’s system from his days in St. Louis. Detroit loves to air it out and spread it around so don’t worry about enough touches to go around. Grab McDonald and keep him on your bench until he shows the first two weeks were no fluke.
WR Roydell Williams (TEN): Williams had a solid game against the Colts in Week 2 with 4 catches for 71 yards and TD. Grab him but keep him on your bench and wait to see if he can continue his progression with Vince Young.
QB Derek Anderson (CLE): Anderson is another grab but wait and see guy. He had a huge game with 5 TD passes and 328 yards passing against a terrible Bengals defense and shouldn’t be in your starting lineup until a few more quality starts. Good news is the Browns have good weapons and will be playing from behind a lot.
