Week 8 Strong Play-Weak Play

QB Strong Plays

Derek Anderson @STL: The Browns have been a surprise fantasy team this year and Anderson has been a major reason. Go with Anderson this week again on the road against the Rams in what should be a shootout.

Donovan McNabb @MIN: McNabb gets the match up of playing the NFL’s worst pass defense in Minnesota. McNabb should be good for 2 TD’s and over 250 yards.

Ben Roethlisberger @CIN: It doesn’t take much to see that if you have anyone playing the Bengals that you should start them. Start Big Ben this week and sit back and enjoy.

QB Weak Plays

Jason Campbell @NE: Avoid the Lionel Ritchie look alike this week going against the perfect Patriots who also get Richard Seymour back this week.

RB Strong Plays

Brandon Jacobs @MIA: Jacobs is finally starting to get rolling after his week 1 injury sidelined him for most of the first half of the season. The big man should continue to roll on the road this week in Miami.

LenDale White vs. TEN: Good news for White owners as he carried the rock for 27 times last week against Houston for 104 yards and a score. Go with White this week at home who face the Raiders who rank 29th in Rush Defense.

Weak RB Plays

Cedric Benson vs. DET: Even if Benson is playing the Bengals or Browns, you will still see him as a weak play for the rest of the season. There may even be an official Hate Benson fan club on this site. What a disappointment he is, never play him!!!

LaMont Jordan @TEN: LaMont has been averaging 2.4 yards a carry over the past two games and is facing a tough Titans Defense who rank 6th in yards allowed. However, in PPR leagues Jordan is serviceable with 10 catches for 86 yards the past two games.

Strong WR Plays

Santonio Holmes @CIN: Start any and all playing the Bengals until they stop somebody. Holmes had another good last week with 6 grabs for 54 yards and a score and has scored in four of the last 5 games he has played in. Lets just hope he doesn’t break a nail in warm ups this week.

Hines Ward @CIN: Ward came back from injury last week and had a solid game with 7 catches for 78 yards.

Roydell Williams vs. OAK: Sleeper play of the week. Williams has been coming on the past few weeks and is primed for a big game. Use Williams as a 3rd or 4th option.

Jerricho Cotchery vs. BUF: Cotchery came up huge for fantasy owners last week with his meaningless last second Hail Mary touchdown. Look for him to put up big numbers against a weak Bills Secondary.

Weak WR Plays

Santana Moss @NE: If you’re still playing this guy you may need to have your brain evaluated. Moss has been a major bust this season.
