Week 6 Strong Play-Weak Play

Strong QB Plays

Donovan McNabb @NYJ: Fresh off the Eagles bye week, McNabb should get back on track against the Jets who give up a ton of yards through the air.

Kurt Warner vs. CAR: Now as the full time starter for the rest of the season, the former two-time MVP could have the year everyone thought Leinart was going to have. The Panthers give up an average of over 230 yards a game through the air.

Phillip Rivers vs. OAK: Wow did the Chargers look good last week in destroying the Broncos. Rivers has a good matchup this week at home against Oakland who is another team that is getting shredded through the air this season.

Weak QB Plays

Matt Schaub @JAX: Schaub has continued to play well even with the absence of stud receiver Andre Johnson. However, Schaub faces one of the stingiest defenses in league this Sunday against the Jaguars who rank 7th in Pass Defense.

Strong RB Plays

Jason Wright vs. MIA: The Dolphins can’t stop anybody on the ground giving up a 175 yards a game. Wright is a big sleeper play this week.

Willis McGahee vs. STL: The Ravens will run Willis all day long and he should be in for 100 yards and a score.

Brandon Jacobs @ATL: Jacobs made a huge return last week with 100 yards and a TD against the Jets. The big running back should continue on Monday night with another solid game against the Falcons.

Weak RB Plays

Earnest Graham vs. TEN: With the rate the Bucs backfield is going down don’t be surprised if Graham doesn’t make it through the game. The Titans have a tough run D and will likely hold Graham in check.

Cedric Benson vs. MIN: The Bears may be regretting trading away Thomas Jones right now. Benson will be in for a long game going up against the Vikings #1 run Defense.

Brian Leonard @BAL: Leonard had a good game last week with 135 total yards. However the Ravens are only giving up 66 yards a game on the ground. Avoid Leonard this week and look for a better play to fill your lineup.

Strong WR Plays

Dwayne Bowe vs. CIN: The Bengals have arguably the worst Defense in the league next to the Browns. The rookie will have another solid performance at home this week

Vincent Jackson vs. OAK: Jackson is starting to come along the past few weeks and is looking like a #2 WR option. Jackson has potential for a big game this week against the Raiders who are 22nd in Pass Defense.

Nate Burleson vs. NO: With Branch out, Burleson becomes the #1 WR and has a nice matchup against the Saints this week at home. The $50 million man should earn his check this week.

Derrick Mason vs. STL: Plug the possesion receiver in this week to your starting lineup. Forget that he has been held out of practice this week with what the trainer is calling "gastroenteritis". Diarrhea man will be more than fine come Sunday.
