Let's get to the questions:
Hey guys, I've got Lee Evans but also Shaun McDonald. I'm considering starting McDonald over Evans, what do you think?
-John, Pitt. PA
McDonald is getting as many looks as Calvin Johnson (17 to 16 respectively), and he's been making catches when he's had the chance. Evans and the Bills are struggling, and against New England it may not get any better. Evans will break out of his slump eventually, so it's up to you whether to keep him in the lineup as dead weight until he does. We like the McDonald play.
I was just wondering who to start at the flex position. My current options are Santonio Holmes, Chris Chambers or Thomas Jones.
-Brad
Jones is getting a lot of touches, but he's not doing much with them. When making a decision like this, we always use targets as the deciding factor. Last week, Chambers had 16 targets, and 27 for the year. Holmes had 6 last week, and 9 for the year. While we like Holmes as a WR this year, Chambers appears to be the guy to go with.
TE question, Crumpler vs. Panthers or Witten vs. Bears?
-Hank, Starkville, Miss.
Their catches are close, but Witten has done more with them. That said, we'd play the matchup and start Crumpler against the Panthers.
