Round / Name Player Drafted FFAllStars.com commentary
1.01 Goose Steven Jackson Wow! That'll get your attention! Passing on LT too big of a risk for me.
1.02 Stracke Tomlinson   Next
1.03 Marky Larry Johnson Good pick - he must be a Stracke reader on FFall-stars.com
1.04 Vegas Pete Frank Gore So far going as planned.
1.05 Rich J.Addai   Remember Edge in his heyday? That's Addai this year.
1.06 Tommy R. Bush   Between Bush and Westbrook…I like Bush.
1.07 Stelios L. Maroney I think I would have gone w/ Westbrook, but Maroney is solid.
1.08 Jimmy R. Brown   Definitely would have taken Westbrook...Brown goes five picks too early
1.09 Pope B. Westbrook Finally a smart FFer
1.10 Celaya S. Alexander Solid pick, not a bad risk to take with the 10th pick.
1.11 Jason Willie Parker If FWP can do what he did last year, this is a bargain.
1.12 Vito Rudi Johnson Always overlooked, always puts up numbers
2.01 Vito P. Manning It's nice to have #1, but I think there's 5 or 6 others who will put up similar numbers.
2.02 Jason Portis   Tough to make this pick w/ CJ still on the board.
2.03 Celaya Chad Johnson No brainer considering the RBs left.
2.04 Pope T. Holt   Nice to get a top tier WR - no way any are left in the 3rd.
2.05 Jimmy Edgerrin James Watch out for Edge this year, he could put up big numbers in that offense.
2.06 Stelios Travis Henry Too risky of a pick w/ stud receivers still on the board.
2.07 Tommy S. Smith   Solid pick, could have gone w/ Harrison, but Smith is younger, probably safer in that regard.
2.08 Rich M. Harrison Good pick, good value at 8th pick in the 2nd round.
2.09 Vegas Pete R. Moss   By far the worst pick in the draft so far. If Vegas wanted Moss, get him in the 3rd at the earliest.
2.10 Marky R. Wayne   Safer pick than Fitz or TO.
2.11 Stracke L. Fitz   The decision is between Fitz and TO. I think TO will be there on the way back, so Fitz is the pick.
2.12 Goose A. Boldin   Boldin is good, but TO is better.
3.01 Goose C. Benson Shaky pick - I would have taken MoJo, McGahee and the 2 rooks over Benson.
3.02 Stracke TO   LT, Fitz, and TO - it should be illegal to have 3 picks that good.
3.03 Marky Carson Palmer Let the QB run begin!
3.04 Vegas Pete D. Brees   Brees over Brady?
3.05 Rich T. Brady   Brady could be more productive than Peyton this year, good pick.
3.06 Tommy Maurice Jones-Drew Mojo still there halfway through the 3rd? Great pick.
3.07 Stelios Javon Walker Roy and Andre should go before Javon in most scoring systems.
3.08 Jimmy Andre Johnson Would have gone w/ Roy myself, but Andre is solid as well.
3.09 Pope Houshmandz Caddy, McGahee or Roy should be the pick here.
3.10 Celaya Cadillac   Caddy should be back to '05 form.
3.11 Jason Roy Williams Good pick, best WR on the board.
3.12 Vito Thomas Jones TJ another who's always undervalued.
4.01 Vito M. Colston Little early for Colston.
4.02 Jason W. McGahee Solid pick, best RB on the board.
4.03 Celaya Lee Evans In retrospect, should have taked Roy @ 3.10, and hoped Caddy fell.
4.04 Pope DeAngelo Williams Too early for little Napolean
4.05 Jimmy Bulger   If you're going to go QB Bulger's your guy here.
4.06 Stelios Darrell Jackson Driver the safer WR pick.
4.07 Tommy D. Driver   Good pick - #5 overall WR in 2006 PPR leagues.
4.08 Rich M. Lynch   Ok, I like AP's upside more, but Lynch is the man in Buffalo.
4.09 Vegas Pete A. Green   Finally, Vegas Pete comes thru w/ a decent pick.
4.10 Marky Adrian Peterson Ouch, Marky snagged AP right before I was going to pick him.
4.11 Stracke Gates   That's all right, Gates in the 4th is a better value.
4.12 Goose L.Coles   Good pick. Coles should have an even better year than last year.
5.01 Goose Calvin Johnson Another good pick, so good in fact, it's who I was going to take.
5.02 Stracke Tatum Bell A bit of a stretch, but if Kevin Jones falters in his rehab, Bell could be a steal in the 5th.
5.03 Marky Reggie Brown Reggie Brown over Hines Ward? Questionable to say the least.
5.04 Vegas Pete Hines Ward Vegas Pete! Another solid pick - what's gotten into you?
5.05 Rich Braylon   Braylon has talent, but is he going to put up better numbers than Plax or C. Chambers?
5.06 Tommy Plaxico   If he's picking this good, he must be a Stracke.
5.07 Stelios McNabb   McNabb a steal if he gets back to pre-injury form.
5.08 Jimmy C. Chambers Good pick, especially if Culpepper can bounce back.
5.09 Pope W. Dunn   Can Dunn hold off Norwood 1 more year?
5.10 Celaya S. Moss   S. Moss dependent on Cambell's development.
5.11 Jason T. Gonzo   Gonzo should have a few years left, but T. Green no longer getting him the ball.
5.12 Vito J. Galloway Galloway should start slowing down this year.
6.01 Vito L. Jordan   6th round isn't a bad time to take a chance on Lamont.
6.02 Jason D. Branch   Solid value here
6.03 Celaya B. Jacobs   Big roll of the dice, I like Julius Jones or Marion Barber better here
6.04 Pope Leinart   Another roll of the dice, but the upside is huge
6.05 Jimmy J. Jones   Seems about right
6.06 Stelios J. Shockey Big name, but better tight ends out there
6.07 Tommy Marion Barber Could take over this year, nice #3 in PPR leagues
6.08 Rich A. Crumpler Always a threat, should have gone before Shockey
6.09 Vegas Pete T. Glenn   She's got some life left, but this seems a little early
6.10 Marky J. Lewis   End of round six is good value for him
6.11 Stracke D. McAllister Even better value for the Deuce at this spot
6.12 Goose Hasselbeck It's about time for him here, if you pass on QB here you're really rolling the dice later
