Here's a recap of the last few weeks:
Week 3 - Going into Monday Night, we were down 135.15 - 115.10; We had Vince Young and the newly acquired Roydell Williams. VY and Roydell took care of business, and the All-Stars won 138.00-135.00
Week 4 - Kitna, Fitzgerald and Dallas Clark all had great days against us. In fact, things looked bleak for the All-Stars; however, a late TD by Marky B boy-toy Santonio Holmes pushed us closer to victory. The only reason we were even close was due to the genius waiver wire pick up of Andre Davis (Houston, WR. A pickup is considered genius when a guy puts up 5 catches, 117 yds and a TD, yet you still have to inform readers who the hell the guy is.) Our opponent had only Kenny Watson on Monday Night and needed about 80 yds on the ground plus 3 catches for 30 to beat us. Thanks to Vegas Pete using whatever voodoo he used during our darts contest, Watson only put up 55 yds and 2 catches for 8. FFAS rolls on to a 3 - 1 record.
Week 5 - Gates showed up for us, but that was about it. Nick Folk had a nice Monday night game as well. Our opponent threw Kenton Keith and Jason Witten at us along with a solid outing from almost all of his other guys. Too much for the All-Stars, 3 - 2 and in the middle of the pack.
This coming week is going to be rough as well, as we've got Kevin Jones and Santonio "I pulled my hammy in pre-game warmups and really screwed over some fantasy teams" Holmes on Bye. In another genius move, The Professor and Goose decided last week to grab Jason Wright, then the backup to Jamal Lewis. Well, Lewis got hurt, Wright appears to be poised to start week 6, and we may just get the bye week plug-in we need.
