Week 9 Strong Play-Weak Play

QB Strong Plays

Phillip Rivers @MIN: With the addition of Chambers, Rivers finally has a legit #1 receiver. The Vikings Defense is near the bottom at stopping the pass and Rivers should be good for 225+ and a 2 TD’s.

Matt Hasselbeck @CLE: Who hasn’t torched the Browns this year? With the run game not working, look for Hasselbeck to put up big numbers even though Deion Branch will be a game time decision.

Donovan McNabb vs. DAL: Go with McNabb this week at home on Sunday Night against the Cowboys. McNabb has been up and down all year, but look for him to have a solid game this week.

Weak QB Plays

Steve McNair @PIT: Has this guy even played this year? He has been named the starter but don’t even consider starting him on your team unless he plays like he did 10 years ago.

Strong RB Plays

Kevin Jones vs. DEN: If the Packers who have the worst run game in the league can run all over this Broncos D, I like Jones too as well. Jones has come on big the past two weeks running the ball well and scoring in each game.

LenDale White vs. CAR: The big whale has solidified his spot as the primary RB for the Titans with his solid play the past two weeks. White is a must start now after going for over 100 yards in two straight games.

Clinton Portis @NYJ: Forget about Portis’ dismal game last week against the Patriots even though he did manage to have 5 catches for 54 yards. Portis should be in for 100 total yards and a score against a weak Jets D.

Weak RB Plays

Ryan Grant @KC: Don’t get too excited about the new waiver wire craze for this week. KC has a good Run Defense and Grant will be sharing carries with Jackson and Morency.

Cedric Benson vs. BYE: This is just to remind you how awful and what a bust Benson is and to never play him.

Strong WR Plays

Nate Burleson @CLE: Burleson thrives against crappy defenses. With Branch banged up and possibly out, start Burleson this week as a #3 option.

Lee Evans @CIN: Don’t be shocked if Evans has a monster game at home against another awful defense. Evans is a must start this week.

Chris Chambers @MIN: Chambers scored in his first game with the Chargers amidst a week of turmoil. Chambers only looks to get better with more time with Rivers, and should continue that this week on the road against the Vikings.

Weak WR Plays

Santana Moss @NYJ: Don’t be fooled by Moss’ six catches last week in garbage time. Moss will continue to be a no show this week.

Mid-Season All-Bust Team

QB Marc Bulger- Top 5 QB going into the season with only 3 TD’s to go with 8 picks.

QB Matt Leinart- Maybe he should spend more time with his receivers instead of Peyton making commercials. Went down for the year with a broken collarbone in week 5 after struggling in his first season as starter.

RB Shaun Alexander- You know you owners that got him in 8-10 range were real excited about him possibly returning to his MVP form. Well that didn’t happen. 460 yards and 2 TD’s at the half way point and it’s easy to label him as a bust

RB Steven Jackson- Injuries have derailed his projected 2,500 yard total season. After 8 games, 340 total yards and only 1 score.

RB Laurence Maroney- Another first round bust running back. Has not scored once this season and has been plagued by injuries. Did look good last week against the Redskins, but 397 total yards and no TD’s at this point in this season is a disappointment.

WR Javon Walker- A lot of promise going into the season for a big year with Jay Cutler. His knee injury has sidelined him for a majority of the season and has only totaled 19 catches for 230 yards with no scores.

WR Marvin Harrison- So much for being the #1 in Indy anymore. Harrison has only 20 grabs for 247 yards with just 1 TD.

WR Lee Evans- Not sure what happened here, he always had bad QB play and somehow put up good numbers. Only 22 catches for 349 and a score equates to bust.

TE Vernon Davis- The guy has all the tools to be the next Gates, but can’t seem to stay healthy. The #6 overall pick in the ’06 draft has just 18 catches for 176 yards, but did score for the first time last week. May pick it up in the second half.

TE Todd Heap- Have never been a big Todd Heap fan but there is always somebody that takes him too high. Well 12 catches for 201 yards and a score…you can have him.

Honorable Mention

QB Vince Young- 4 total TD’s-8 INT’s

RB Frank Gore- 560 Total Yards, not bad-Only 3 TD’s though

RB Cedric Benson- Stats don’t need to be put, he just sucks

WR Darrell Jackson- 18 catches-216 yards-1 TD

WR Santana Moss- 20 catches-248 yards-0 TD’s

WR Mark Clayton- 18 catches-153 yards-0 TD’s

TE Alge Crumpler- 19 catches-203 yards- 1 TD

Post-Week 9 Waiver Wire Pickups

QB J.P. Losman (BUF): Losman had a big day passing for nearly 300 yards and a score. Keep in mind he was playing the Bengals.

QB Quinn Gray (JAX): In just his second start, Gray threw for over 350 yards and 2 TD’s. He did however have 3 picks. If you are desperate for a QB pick him up and possibly play him in favorable match-ups.

RB Maurice Morris (SEA): Morris had 11 touches for 98 yards on Sunday in spelling for the struggling Alexander. Don’t be surprised if Morris sees his touches increase to 15-20 a game and possible become the starter. He is a must grab.

RB Priest Holmes (KC): L.J. went down with a right leg injury in Sunday’s loss to the Packers. Holmes will likely be the team’s starter if Johnson is out for next week’s game at home against Denver. According to Herm Edwards, Holmes will be sharing carries with rookie Kolby Smith if Johnson doesn’t return.

WR D.J. Hackett (SEA): Everybody’s pre-season sleeper finally played on Sunday and had a solid game. Hackett hauled in 6 catches for 58 yards and a score. Pick him up if he is available and use him as a possible #3 or #4 option.

Post-Week 9 Injury Report

Doubtful / Out:

Bubba Franks TE Packers – Out Knee – He still has a few weeks left before he comes back.

Questionable:

Jerious Norwood RB Falcons – Questionable Ankle – He hurt his right ankle in Sundays game. Check back Sunday morning to see if he will make the field.

Chad Johnson WR Bengals – Questionable Neck – CT scan showed no damage to this out spoken receiver. I don’t think that a strained neck will hold ocho cinco from the contest against Baltimore Sunday.

Jay Cutler QB Broncos - Questionable Lower Leg – After several tests it shows that there is no stress fracture. It looks like a very bad bruise.

Anthony Gonzalez WR Colts – Questionable Hand – It looks like what was suppose to be a dislocated thumb, turns out to be a broken bone. I don’t think he will make it out to the field this week.

Tarvaris Jackson QB Vikings – Questionable concussion – He passed the concussion test today, but still has to pass the next one on Wednesday. Coach says if he is healthy he will start. Check back for more.

Probable:

Travis Henry RB Broncos – Probable Knee – He left early from Sundays game due to a knee injury. He should be fine for next Sunday’s game.

Kurt Warner QB Cardnals - Probable Elbow – His elbow is still hurt and may have been re-aggravated against the Bucs on Sunday. It look liked he was handing the ball of with his throwing arm like a backwards handoff.

David Carr QB Panthers - Probable concussion – It seems that he can not get healthy. If he tests well this week he will start for the Panthers.

Steve Smith WR Panthers – Probable Hip – It will be hard to keep superman down. His hip will be sore but that won’t be why he struggles this week.

Rudi Johnson RB Bengals – Probable Hamstring – Rudi will play week ten. He is just sore from the hami still recovering.

Ahman Green RB Texans – Probable Knee – The knee injury is bad enough to force him from the game last week. Look to see some recovery from this running back.

Dwayne Bowe WR Chiefs – Probable Hamstring – These injuries are a bit tricky. It will most likely come down to Sunday before anybody knows if he will play.

Bobby Wade WR Vikings – Probable Knee – He hyperextend his knee in Sundays matchup. As painful as that is he may end up suiting up on Sunday.

Shaun Alexander RB Seahawks – Probable Ankle, Knee, Wrist – With all the injuries, there is no wonder why his production is down. Holmgram says he should play this Sunday. He also said that he is going to enforce Alexander to where a cast on his wrist for the rest of the season.

Consistency Rankings (Week 10)

The consistency rankings are another metric we use to gauge the performance of fantasy players; they are also an extremely helpful tool in making lineup decisions -- for example, when choosing between two players at the same position with similar match-ups, the player with the higher consistency rank is usually the smart way to go.

We believe that the consistency rankings are one of the best tools to judge fantasy performance, because they look not only at the total fantasy points a player has scored, but at the distribution of those points, by week. Steady players, who consistently score higher than the position "baseline", or worst starter, are rewarded, while volatile players, who post elite numbers one week and sub-par numbers the next week, are penalized. Unlike year to date aggregate fantasy points, or per game average fantasy points, the consistency rankings are not overly skewed by one or two monster games.

Week 10 Strong Play-Weak Play

Strong QB Plays

Ben Roethlisberger vs. CLE: The match-up almost looks to good to be true. All Big Ben does is throw touchdowns. Expect this week to be no different, just pray for more yards.

Drew Brees vs. STL: Brees is finally back to his ’06 form and should continue that at home this week against the winless Rams. Look for Brees and the Saints Offense to torch the Rams D.

Eli Manning vs. DAL: In their last meeting in week 1 Eli threw for 4 TD’s and over 300 yards. Plaxico has been a nightmare for the Cowboys in previous meetings. Eli should be in for a big game this week at home.

Weak QB Plays

Quinn Gray @TEN: Don’t expect another game like that from Gray this week. Gray got most of his points last week coming from behind in the second half against an average Saints D. The Titans have one of the stingiest Defenses in the league.

Kurt Warner vs. DET: This QB position has to be one of the most disappointing positions in fantasy football this year. With all the weapons they have you figure with either Warner or Leinart, one of them would be a top 10 QB. Sit Warner this week against a solid Detroit D.

Strong RB Plays

Willis McGahee vs. CIN: McGahee is expected to start this week after leaving last weeks game against the Steelers with a concussion. Willis has scored in three straight games and should do the same this week against a terrible Bengals D.

Marshawn Lynch @MIA: If it wasn’t for Peterson, Lynch would win Rookie of the Year. Lynch is a must start every week now and has a favorable match-up this week at Miami.

Maurice Morris vs. SF: With Alexander listed as questionable against the Niners with a banged up knee and wrist, start Morris. Even if Alexander plays they will give the majority of the touches to Morris who has looked far more impressive than Alexander this season.

Weak RB Plays

Edgerrin James vs. DET: Try to avoid Edge this week going up against a tough Lions D. Edge only averaged 1.7 yards a carry last week against the 24th ranked Bucs Run Defense.

Strong WR Plays

Santonio Holmes vs. CLE: What else can you about this guy? The guy is becoming a complete stud and will be a top 10 wide-out by next year. Look for Holmes to have another big day.

Greg Jennings vs. MIN: Another second year stud WR. Jennings has been on fire the past few weeks since returning to action. Jennings should have a big game and hook up with Farve for a 100 yards and a score.

Lee Evans @MIA: Evans has come on huge the past few weeks and this week should be no different in Miami. Evans is once a again a must start after a disappointing first half of the season when he was being labeled a bust.

Weak WR Plays

Dwayne Bowe vs. DEN: What happened to this guy? Bowe was becoming a must start after a few big games earlier in the season, but has disappeared of late. Avoid Bowe this week with Champ and Dre Bly likely shutting him down.

Post-Week 10 Wavier Wire Pickups

RB Mewelde Moore (MIN): With Adrian Peterson out indefinitely with a torn ligament in his knee, Moore becomes the backup to starter Chester Taylor. It is worth noting to keep an eye on the Vikings backfield situation, as Moore will likely get some touches in spelling for Taylor.

WR Drew Bennett (STL): Over the last two games Bennett has 10 catches for 100 yards and a score. With Bulger and the Rams offense showing some signs of life, Bennett is a solid pick-up at this point. He should be available in most leagues as many frustrated owners probably dropped him earlier in the season. Bennett has a nice match-up in week 14 against the Bengals.

WR Juston Gage (TEN): The big receiver for the Titans hauled in 7 catches for 90 yards and a score on Sunday in a loss to the Jaguars. Grab him in deep leagues. If this type of play continues, he is worth consideration at a flex position.

WR Ruvell Martin (GB): Made some nice plays on Sunday against the Vikings with 4 grabs for 57 yards and 2 TD's. Keep in mind the Packers were playing the Vikings awful pass defense. Martin is a big target at 6’4 but doesn’t warrant any starting consideration at this time with the Packers deep receiving core.

WR James Thrash (WAS): The Trash Man had a flashback on Sunday from his year 2000 days with the Redskins. Thrash had a solid day out-of-nowhere with 5 catches for 85 yards and 2 TD's. He did however leave the game on crutches, injuring his ankle in the loss to the Eagles.

WR Nate Washington (PIT): Over the last two games Washington has a combined 7 catches for 108 yards and 2 TD's. With the way the Steelers are throwing the ball around, Washington is worth considering in deeper leagues. Especially with the Steelers favorable schedule the next 3 weeks with the Dolphins, Jets, and Bengals.

TE Leonard Pope (ARI): The 6’8 monster has started to come along the past few weeks. On Sunday he had 5 grabs for 52 yards and 2 TD's. Pope is a solid grab and another pick up with favorable match-ups against Cleveland and Cincinnati coming up.

TE Bryan Fletcher (IND): In filling in for the injured Dallas Clark on Sunday, Fletcher hauled in 8 grabs for 55 yards and a score. If Clark continues to be sidelined, Fletcher is worth considering as a starter.

Week 10 Injuries for Week 11

Week 10 Injuries for Week 11
Doubtful / Out:
Adrian Peterson RB Vikings – Out Knee – Don’t fret fantasy fans. He will be back this season. They say it is a ligament tear, let’s wait and see what comes out of the Vikings camp this week to determine his value for 07.
Troy Brown WR Patriots – Out Knee – He has not played yet this season. Keep an eye out on later in the season to see if you should pick him up on waivers.

Questionable:
Demetrius Woods WR Ravens – Questionable Ankle – He hurt his right ankle in Sunday’s game. Check back Sunday morning to see if he will make the field.
Todd Heap TE Ravens – Questionable Hamstring – He re-hurt is hamstring during Sundays game. It is unclear how bad his injury is at this time.
DeShaun Foster RB Panthers - Questionable Toe – It looks like he hurt is toe. Check back Sunday to see if he is going to play.
David Carr QB Panthers – Questionable Concussion – This poor guy has been riddled with hits his whole career it is finally taking its toll.
Brian Griese QB Bears – Questionable Shoulder – The doctors are saying that it his non throwing shoulder is sprained. As the week progresses we will see if he will be cleared to take the field. At that point, the coach will decide who will play. Stay away if you can help it.
Travis Henry RB Broncos – Questionable Suspension – Coach Shanahan states that all the tests that were done for the appeal are negative for Marijuana.
Marvin Harrison WR Colts – Questionable Knee – He is being held out to be sure he will be back later in the season. Right now it is hard to tell when he comes back.

Probable:
Kurt Warner QB Cardnals - Probable Elbow – It does not look like his elbow is bothering him too much. Sunday against the Loins he threw for 259 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Vinny Testaverde QB Panthers - Probable Achilles – Even though his Achilles is not completing healed. It looks like he will play this week again due to Mr. Carr seeing stars.
David Garrard QB Jaguars – Probable Ankle – It looks like Quin Grey has seen his days in the NFL end. David will be back this week to return as the starter.
Damon Huard QB Chiefs – Probable Neck – With is injury and poor play, Brodie will probably see a start this Sunday.
Tavaris Jackson QB Vikings – Probable Concussion – Last week Brooks Bollinger took the field to be shut out by the Packers. Tavaris is coming back to start this week with a better chance for the Vikings to win.

Week 11 Strong Play-Weak Play

Strong QB Plays

Donovan McNabb vs. MIA: Look for McNabb to have another solid outing at home against the winless Dolphins. McNabb had a huge game last week with over 250 yards and 4 TD’s. McNabb is a must start.

Jon Kitna vs. NYG: Kitna has gone for over 250 yards in 3 consecutive games and is primed for a big game at home against the Giants who were torched last week the Cowboys.

Kurt Warner @CIN: Warner will put up big numbers as the Cardinals Offense is starting to get rolling. The Bengals Defense hasn’t stopped anybody all year. Start all Cardinal players including Tight End Leonard Pope.

Weak QB Plays

Philip Rivers @JAX: This guy has looked terrible of late and no longer warrants starting consideration. On the road this week against the Jaguars looks like another disaster for Rivers.

Jason Campbell @ DAL: Dallas has too good of a defense to let Campbell have another big game like he did last week against the Eagles. Sit Campbell and keep him on your bench.

Strong RB Plays

Willis McGahee vs. CLE: The Ravens will go with the ground attack as their QB situation is about as bad as is gets right now. McGahee has scored in 4 straight games and will continue that this week.

Ryan Grant vs. CAR: Grant is the type of waiver wire pickup that takes your average fantasy team to a potential championship team. Grant blew up last week against the top ranked Vikings Run Defense. This guy looks to be a stud.

Chester Taylor vs. OAK: Hopefully you had him and Peterson handcuffed because it looks like Peterson is going to miss some time. Taylor is a strong play this week at home against the Raiders who gave up 122 yards to dough boy Ron Dayne two weeks ago.

Weak RB Plays

Marshawn Lynch vs. NE: It appears Lynch is most likely to miss Sundays game versus the Patriots with a severely sprained left ankle. He has not been officially ruled out but even if he does play he will not be putting up strong numbers against a stingy Patriots D.

Cedric Benson @SEA: Don’t get excited about Benson’s average last week against the Raiders D where anybody can score on. Trade him now while his value is at its highest it will ever be.

Strong WR Plays

Derrick Mason vs. CLE: Even with as bad as the QB play is for the Ravens, Mason still gets his. Look for around 7 catches for 80 yards and a score this week at home against the Browns.

Reggie Brown/Kevin Curtis vs. MIA: Both are solid #3 options this week at home. McNabb should have the hot hand again this week.

D.J. Hackett vs. MIN: This guy is really paying off if you kept him on your roster all season. 14 catches for 159 yards and 2 TD’s in two games since coming back is solid. Start Hackett this week at home.

Weak WR Plays

Roddy White vs. TB: Use White as only a #3 or 4 option this week. The Bucs have been strong in the Secondary this year at not giving up many big plays.

Post-Week 11 Injury Report

Week 11 Injuries for Week 12

Doubtful / Out:

Adrian Peterson RB Vikings – Out Knee – He may start running this week. It looks like that knee will keep him out another week.

Questionable:

Marshawn Lynch RB Bills – Questionable Ankle – The bills took a blow last week without the stud rookie in the game. Last week he was wearing a boot. Coach Jauron is not optimistic for his return this week. Check back Monday even though it does not look good.
Ryan Grant RB Packers – Questionable Ankle – Unlike Marshawn there is a chance for him to see the field week 12. His ankle sprain is listed mild. The down side is that they play Thursday this week.

Marvin Harrison WR Colts – Questionable Knee – Marvelous Marvin will most likely sit one more week to get healthy. Look to see him return week 13.

Kevin Faulk RB Patriots - Questionable Head – His head injury was bad enough to have him leave the game early last week, but not bad enough to keep him out next week. He does not want to lose more ground on Maroney.

Laveranues Coles WR Jets – Questionable Ankle – With a short week it makes Coles a very uncertain play in the fantasy world. His ankle injury is bad enough on a short week to call him questionable.

Donovan McNabb QB Eagles – Questionable Ankle – MRI reveals some swelling in his right ankle. The coach added that his throwing thumb is very swollen as well.

Santonio Holmes WR Steelers – Questionable Ankle – His ankle was sprain late in the game Sunday. He is a gamer. He should play week 12. Check back to make sure of his status.

Probable:

Byron Leftwich QB Falcons - Probable Ankle – This poor man can not catch a break. The bucs stole his lunch and put him in the corner for almost half a game due to an ankle injury. No worries, since Harrington has not made it clear to be the starter.

TJ Houshmandzadeh WR Bengals - Probable Back – It looks as though he tweaked his back. Yet not enough to keep the HOUSH out this week.

Owen Daniels TE Texans – Probable Nose – This gladiator broke his nose catching a ball on the first drive Sunday. It looks as though he will still play week 12.

Anthony Gonzalez WR Colts – Probable Hand – Coach Dungy states that Gonzalez could come back with this short week. He could play a bigger role this week.

Alex Smith QB 49ers – Probable Forearm – He is having it checked out this week by the famous Dr. James Andrews (orthopedist) to see what’s going on in there.

Brian Leonard RB Rams – Probable Groin – He did not play much due to the soreness in his groin. It did not help that the predator, Steven Jackson, ran like a ram last week either.

| | Comments (0)

Post-Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups

QB Jason Campbell (WAS): This guy has lit it up the past two weeks and the Redskins have finally opened up the offense for him. Pick him up if he is available.

RB Ricky Williams (MIA): Yes Ricky Williams will practice this week and most likely play Monday Night at Pittsburgh. He should be available in most leagues. If you have room on your roster pick him up and see how he does.

RB Reuben Droughns (NYG): With Brandon Jacobs status for Week 12 in doubt and Derrick Ward banged up, Droughns will most likely start or get a good amount of carries this upcoming week against Minnesota. Also keep an eye on change of pace backup Ahmad Bradshaw who will likely get some carries.

RB Ron Dayne (HOU): It is possible that the big boy is still out there on your waiver wire. Dayne has racked up 211 yards on the ground the past two weeks and scored once. He is worthy of consideration for a #2 or #3 RB spot.

WR Drew Carter (CAR): Carter got the start at receiver with Steve Smith out for Week 11’s game in Green Bay and put up solid numbers with 5 catches for 132 yards and a score. If Smith continues to miss time Carter is worth considering starting as a #3 or #4 WR.

Week 12 Strong Play-Weak Play

Strong QB Plays

Eli Manning vs. MIN: Eli at home vs. the Vikes, should be in for 250+ with 2 TD’s.

David Garrard vs. BUF: If you don’t have one of the stud QB’s, go with Garrard this week at home against Buffalo. Garrard has played well of late and could be a nice spot start this week.

Matt Schaub @CLE: Schaub is primed for a big game this week at Cleveland. Having Andre Johnson back is huge and will do wonders to his fantasy value.

Weak QB Plays

Jay Cutler @CHI: Teams never fare well with a short week on the road after a Monday Night game. Don’t be fooled by Cutler’s impressive performance last week against the Titans. The Bears will keep him in check at Soldier Field on Sunday.

Strong RB Plays

Maurice Morris @STL: Mike Holmgren would have to be an idiot to consider giving Shaun Alexander his job back. Morris has been solid and the whole Seahawks Offense looks better since he took over for the injured/over-the-hill Alexander.

Kolby Smith vs. OAK: With Priest Holmes expected to announce his retirement this week and L.J. still out, Smith should get the start this week at home. The Raiders can’t stop anybody on the ground and Smith should get plenty of touches to rack up some yards and a score.

Weak RB Plays

Thomas Jones @DAL: The Cowboys have been shutting the run down this year and Jones cannot find the end zone. Don’t expect much from Jones this week.

Strong WR Plays

Hines Ward vs. MIA: With the phenom Santonio out this week, Ward will be the first and second read for Big Ben on Monday Night against the Dolphins. Ward is a must start this week. Also check out WR Nate Washington on your waiver wire as a spot start this week.

Greg Jennings @DET: Jennings is solid #2 WR option this week against the Lions on Thanksgiving. Lock it up.

Chris Henry vs. TEN: This guy has been on fire since returning from his 8 game suspension. He is a must start from here on out.

Weak WR Plays

Roddy White vs. ATL: Don’t expect much out of White again this week at home against the Colts. Only consider him if it’s for your #4 flex slot.

Injuries for Week 13

Week 12 Injuries for Week 13
Doubtful / Out:
Cedric Benson RB Bears - Out Ankle – His ankle injury is sever enough to require surgery. He will be out the rest of the season.
Chris Perry RB Bengals – Out Ankle – He is still on the PUP list. The clock is ticking on a decision that needs to be made about his official status by the Bengals.
Terry Glenn WR Cowboys – Out Knee – There has been a scuttle bug that he may be ready to play. It has been reported that he is not ready and will not play against the Packers.
Ricky Williams RB Dolphins – Out Chest – His short come back to the NFL was made clear when a defensive player from the Steelers stepped on him during a fumble by Williams Monday night. He has been placed on IR due to a torn chest muscle.
D.J Hackett WR Seahawks – Out Ankle – He re injured is right ankle and will be out for two weeks or longer.

Questionable:
Marshawn Lynch RB Bills – Questionable Ankle – The rookie sensation is starting to run a little this week. Coach Jauron is still not sure if he will go.
Todd Heap TE Ravens – Questionable Hamstring – This is an injury that can nag a player for weeks and weeks. He is considered week to week due to his progress with this injury.
Selvin Young RB Broncos – Questionable Knee – Even though he is listed as questionable. He will most likely play this week.
Bubba Franks TE Packers - Questionable Knee – Thursday is going to come too fast for this Farve target. He just won’t be ready to lace them up against the Cowboys.
Ahman Green RB Texans – Questionable Knee – He was inactive last week and it looks like he will be this week as well. Coach Kubiak does not believe that Green will see the field this week.
Brandon Jacobs RB Giants – Questionable Hamstring – This doesn’t look good this week for Jacobs. The trainers are looking at him through out the week to see if they will be able to clear him to play.
Donovan McNabb QB Eagles – Questionable Thumb – The coach has stated that he does not want McNabb to play until he is 100%. The word on the street is that the only way they will trade McNabb is for 3 first round picks.
Santonio Holmes WR Steelers – Questionable Ankle – He should play week 13 in a limited capacity.
Isaac Bruce WR Rams – Questionable Hand – He sprained his hand last week. He is considered day to day. Check back Sunday to see if he will play.

Probable:
Byron Leftwich QB Falcons - Probable Tailbone – Even though he will be healthy to play, he will only back up Harrington this week
Patrick Crayton WR Cowboys - Probable Ankle – He is practicing and looks healthy enough to play week 12 against the Packers.
Javon Walker WR Broncos – Probable Knee – He was very limited last week. The coach believes that he will see more time this week.
Donald Driver WR Packers – Probable Foot – He practiced Monday but without pads. HE should play against the Cowboys.
Adrian Peterson RB Vikings – Probable Knee – MRI looks good, this purple people eater will be eating yards once again.
Tom Brady QB Patriots – Probable Elbow – Superman has a sore elbow from probably getting hit during the close game. He had a big bag of ice on his none throwing arm Monday after he left the looker room.

Week 13 Offensive Projections -- By Team

This tool details the fantasy matchups that are advantageous in week 13. While most projections are subjective by nature, these are strictly objective calculations, dependent on each team's average offensive statistics and their opponent's average defensive statistics.

This week, in addition to our, normal weekly projections, we've also included Week 13 projections based on what's transpired offensively and defensively over the last 4 weeks.

The tables show each team, the respective opponent this week, and a calculation of their expected production in the following offensive categories:

Completions
Passing Attempts
Passing Yards
Passing TDs
Interceptions
Rushing Attempts
Rushing Yards
Rushing TDs

Good matchups are shaded green

Bad matchups are shaded red

Week 13 Strong Play-Weak Play

Strong QB Plays

Jay Cutler @OAK: Cutler has played extremely well the past two weeks and is primed for a big game this week against a weak Raiders pass defense.

Kurt Warner vs. CLE: Warner should have another big game this week at home against the Browns in a sure shootout.

Weak QB Plays

Eli Manning @CHI: Next to when Trent Dilfer was with the Bucs, Eli had one of the worst performances by a QB last week in recent memory. Sit Eli this week on the road against the Bears.

Strong RB Plays

Justin Fargas vs. DEN: Fargas torched the Chiefs last week on the ground and is now a must start. The only problem with Fargas is the chance of backup Jordan getting the goal line TD’s.

Thomas Jones @MIA: Jones tore up the Phins last time they met for 110 yards on 25 carries. Expect the same from Jones this week with hopefully a score.

Weak RB Plays

Andre Hall @OAK: Hall did not practice (ankle) Wednesday and Selvin Young is healthy this week and there is still a chance Travis Henry will play. Hall’s impact and carries will be limited this week.’

Strong WR Plays:

Hines Ward vs. CIN: Even with the shape of the field last week in Pittsburgh, Ward still had a solid game with 9 grabs for 88 yards. Going against the Bengals this week, Ward is in for a big day.

Joey Galloway @NO: If Garcia is a go for Sunday, Galloway is a solid #2 WR this week. In his last 6 games vs. the Saints, Galloway has scored 9 times.

Weak WR Plays

Steve Smith vs. SF: What a waste this year has been for the NFL's most explosive and talented receiver. It appears Smith most likely wont play this week (hamstring).
